Warsaw: Reloading

Warsaw: Reloading

Hey, pipol’! Just came back from a small trip full of sun, fun with my great friends, and of course, delicious food, so now I feel real need to share some short impressions about all three cities I’ve been to 🙂

Let’s start in Warsaw. My first time there was in 2012, and I almost believed that the city falls asleep every midnight after Pilsudsky’s monument waves its mustache. Empty streets (I didn’t know that people are THAT bound to their families during New Year days), almost everything closed, all grey… You see, I really needed to come back and reload the image of Polish capital in my mind. And it was awesome! First, it’s all about people (since 2012 I’ve made some good friends there), and second – the weather was just perfect. Warm and sunny, Warsaw looked and felt totally different. This picture wasn’t true anymore:

Here you have the real Warsaw and the real rainbow near the cathedral (the rainbow is set on fire quite often):

I was totally charmed by the library of the University of Warsaw and it’s beautiful garden, nice cafe Kafka near it, and by Kopernik Center as well. One of the best museums I’ve ever been to! Here you see my friend R. trying to understand if I lied or not, then the tornado imitator, our attempts to guess what people are usually talking about, my mental map of Europe, R. playng lazer arph, Foucault pendulum and us in the room with funny optical effect. And you can try and do so many things, that one day in the center can not be enough.

Add to this cultural programm all possible sorts of vegetarian food you can eat there, different types of Polish drinks (hazelnut vodka is a must, but please don’t trust its sweetness too much!), cabrio ride in the night and cycling during the day, and you will understand that the reloading was completely successful 🙂
